It was K Asifs dream to see Mughal E Azam in colour. Sixty years later the magic of technology has filled the love story between the Mughal Crown Prince Salim and the beautiful courtesan Anarkali in colour. Mughal E Azam is considered to be the finest historical epic ever made in Indian Cinema. This movie presented Emperor Akbar played flawlessly by Prithviraj Chauhan is a man torn between his duties towards his Empire and the love for his son. Talent and technology came in sync to weave magic over this work of art and Mughal-E-Azam in it's color avatar was released in November 2004. It was a box office success.
