Vitamin E refers to a group of compounds that include both tocopherols and tocotrienols.
The fat soluble vitamins are soluble in lipids (fats). Vitamin E falls into this category.
My favorite sources of Vitamin E are some exotic foods like -
* Sunflower seed Oil (that amazing flower whose seeds obey the Fibonacci sequence)
* Spinach (made famous by Popeye the Sailor man)
* Kiwifruit (in no way related to a certain flightless bird !)
The key benefit of Vitamin E to me is related to it's antioxidant (ability to combat free radicals) properties, and the rest follows -
* glowing skin
* less wrinkles
* good muscle tone
* positive sex drive 😄
and
* overall fitness
The daily requirement of this Vitamin is 20mg. I make this up from the above sources, and, in some cases through esoteric sources like broccoli and shrimp. (on holidays).
Of course, I am a non-vegetarian, and that helps !
That, pretty much, sums it up folks .... (Do I see Olive Oyl on the prowl ???) 😇
