When counting your profits net,
Ensure that you are not based on debt.
Deficit financing looks good on paper,
A complete contradiction to what appears safer.
The Quick Ratio is a financiers trick,
And is sure to make you sick.
Debt to Equity is in the same vein,
And only adds to your pain. :-(
And so what says the Magic Wand,
Is the Holy Grail the humble Bond ?
Debentures put on your funds a lock,
And are useful only when your company is in the dock !
Stocks and Shares don't augur well,
And in 1929 sounded the death knell,
Of the global economy.
Coming back to the Bond,
Oh ! i'm confused.
This time I'm talking about James.... :-)
It isn't,
Quite the same.
